| A Babydoll is a loose fitting nightgown, short and sometimes sleeveless, sometimes with front slit like a baby wear intended as nightwear for women. It sometimes has cups with an attached loose fitting skirt falling in length between the chest and the belly button. The garment is often trimmed with lace, ruffles, marabou fur, bows and ribbons.
